Loving Family Dream Fund is set up in 2012, coordinated by Hong Kong Family Welfare Services and funded by Lee Kum Kee Family Foundation. Following the core value of Lee Kum Kee Family, “Si Ri Ji Ren”, the project is to provide financial support to multi-generation families and make their dreams come true, so as to upgrade living quality and improve family relationship.

Application

Registered Social workers from Hong Kong Social Welfare Department or any Non-government units can refer qualified applicants/families by filling the relevant forms and submit to the secretariat of the Dream Fund

Each qualified family can apply for HKD 10000 at maximum.

Funding Category

The fund is for disadvantaged families to conduct meaningful activities for family solidarity like taking family portrait, back home town to worship ancestor, create family story book for elderly, etc. We also consider funding for family therapeutic services to improve family relationship.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a Hong Kong resident aged 18 or above

• The family as the unit of beneficiary, recipients must include immediate family members of three generations or more, for example: grandparents, children and grandchildren and so on.

• The family has no record of successful application to Dream Fund's appropriations

• The project under application should not be funded by government or other Fund before.

• Household income and assets shall not exceed the limits of Hong Kong Housing Authority for public housing prescribed
